Reds place Hunter Greene, 2 more pitchers on COVID-19 IL amid playoff push

The Reds placed three players, all pitchers, on the COVID-19-related injured list Friday. Hunter Greene was put on the list before the first game of Friday’s doubleheader, while reliever Fernando Cruz and starter Ben Lively were placed on it between games.
Graham Ashcraft, the starter for the Reds’ 6-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs in the first game, left Great American Ball Park to get an MRI on his right large toe that had been bothering him.
