Scherzer gets to 11th on MLB strikeout list in loss

Max Scherzer, making his fourth start for Texas since getting traded from the New York Mets, moved into 11th place on baseball’s career strikeout list, notching No. 3,343 Sunday to pass Phil Niekro, but the Rangers lost 6-2 to the Milwaukee Brewers.
