Surging Mariners lose Gold Glove shortstop to injured list

The Mariners announced that shortstop J.P. Crawford has been placed on the seven-day concussion injured list, retroactive to Aug. 10. He’s eligible to return by next Thursday but the team hasn’t provided a firm timetable.
