Trevor Bauer settles legal dispute with woman who accused him of sexual assault

Former major league pitcher Trevor Bauer settled his legal dispute with Lindsey Hill, a woman who accused him of beating and sexually assaulting her in 2021, lawyers for Bauer and Hill said Monday.
Hill, who had not been previously identified under The Athletic’s policy of not naming alleged victims of domestic violence or sexual assault, asked to be identified after settling the legal dispute, and her lawyers used her name several times in public statements.
