New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton launched his 400th career home run Tuesday, a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning against the Detroit Tigers. Here’s what you need to know:

Stanton’s blast traveled 451 feet at 116.8 mph to left-center field — the kind of no-doubter that Stanton has been known for throughout his career. It came on José Cisnero’s 1-1 slider.
